We offer our patrons the opportunity for an all inclusive birthday parties at Sherwood Ice Arena. Parties are our specialty at the Sherwood Ice Arena! We take your mind off planning a party by doing everything for you while offering a variety of packages to fit your needs and budget. Whether you’re 4, 14, or 40,  Sherwood Ice Arena is a perfect place to create a lifetime of birthday memories.

Our NHL sized ice arena is ready for your enjoyment and instruction. Sherwood Ice Arena hosts the largest adult hockey program in the Northwest. We have over 55 teams playing in 9 separate divisions. Whether you are new to hockey or a pro, we have a great league home for you!

Whether you are a beginner or advanced, private ice skating lessons are a great way to enhance your skating and/or hockey skills.  Our group lessons teach beginning through advanced skating.  We offer both Figure Skating and Hockey Skating instruction. All of Sherwood Ice Arena Figure Skating coaches belong to the Professional Skating Association and are fully certified through USFS.

No community/group/shared outside foods or drinks may be brought in to our facility. This includes group/family-portioned snacks/meals and beverages. Single-portioned foods only to serve you, the individual are allowed. We do have a snack bar that offers a variety of food and drinks choices for you to purchase while you are enjoying our establishment.  We ask that everyone please be respectful to our arena and comply with our policies.  Please do not bring in cookies, cup cakes, cakes, or ETC to celebrate a birthday or a personal achievement.  Please refer to our Birthday Party Packages if you wish to consider a celebration event here at SIA.  Thank you.

Sherwood Ice Arena is a proud supporter of the Portland Junior Hawks youth program, Rose City Youth Girl Hockey Club, our own internal adult hockey league and youth programs, as well as the Portland Winterhawks pro hockey club.
